  The National Insurance Consumer Helpline is a telephone hotline that offers consumer support for queries and problems relating to insurance needs. Printed materials are also available. Information and materials for auto insurance, health insurance, home insurance and life insurance.

• Legal Assistance for Seniors
  Call if you are having legal problems with Social Security, SSI, health care (including Medi-Cal, Medicare or nursing home issues), senior or subsidized housing, elderly abuse or incapacity. Help is available to Alameda County residents over 60 years old.

• Legal Assistance to the Elderly
  Provides assistance on civil matters, including landlord/tenant, to S.F. residents, 60 years or older. Must be S.F. resident 60 years or older. Provides legal services and health insurance counseling for seniors (age 60 or over). Assistance includes help with Medicare, Medi-Cal, Social Security, SSI, tenant problems, physical abuse, financial abuse, residential care and nursing homes.
